Material
We produce moulded and extruded rubber seals most commonly from EPDM, Neoprene or Natural rubber compounds. Natural rubber having high tensile strength and good abrasion resistant properties for a mechanically effective seal. Though when the gate seal will be exposed to ozone and weathering, EPDM and Neoprene have far greater resistance. This makes these 2 compounds popular choices, or also using them in compound blends.
The Rubber Company use specially formulated compounds to ensure maximum abrasion resistance and perfect sealing. We can also supply with PTFE film cladding to reduce friction and prevent the rubber gate seal jamming on contact surface.
